Holistic Retirement Living - Reconnect With Your Spirit
Holistic Retirement Living understands that retirement is a time for changing the means we have a tendency to honor our body and its relationship to our spirit. It reminds us that aging could be a journey of faith in things unseen.
There are things we will do to affect our health and longevity, but this is solely part of the story. Regardless of how well we tend to exercise control over our physical health, we have a tendency to can perpetually be participants in a grand plan taking us down a path that features illness and decline, ultimately moving us into another type of consciousness. We have a tendency to do not, and never can, consciously management our fate. The earlier we have a tendency to admit this humbling reality, the better off we have a tendency to can be.
Once we tend to will say this, we tend to will move toward a middle ground, between control and fear. We tend to get what the Buddhists call "middle path"; an area where we tend to will honor our Self, whereas being absolutely aware and accepting of a passage which reflects our destiny. We tend to come to determine life as a dance of opposites.
There are samples of this dance all around us. We have a tendency to see folks with cancer defy medical prognosis by seemingly deciding they were not going to allow that to happen to them. Some outlive their doctor's predictions by many years. Equally, we tend to can find many others laid low with similar serious illnesses, exhibiting the identical strength of character, spirit and hope, who are not blessed with the sudden recoveries or spontaneous healing others have enjoyed.
We tend to do not perceive all the factors that play roles in health and illness. One would think though, that a belief that assumes we will consciously control our fate creates a very false sense of power and security, setting us up for nice guilt when things do not figure out the manner we tend to planned. Maybe looking at life through a different lens would help.
Bear in mind the words Jesus spoke when questioned regarding the man born blind: "Neither this man nor his oldsters sinned; he was born blind so that God's work would possibly be revealed in him." May seeing our trials as opportunities for grace remove the guilt that may accompany not having the ability to manage them?
Shaping a view of life that does not break down when incomprehensible things happen to us; developing inner strength that can endure the truth and is capable of handling the world and accepting our destiny may be a higher approach to go. For within an attitude of acceptance in experiencing seeming defeat, lies the hidden power of victory over it.
In taking time to find out to listen to our inner voice, the voice we have a tendency to've carried with us all along, we have a tendency to will grow deep in the sense of oneness with life as we move nearer to our destination in an exceedingly Holistic Retirement.
