Have you thought that if you could just write your ex a really heart felt letter explaining how much you love them then maybe he would take you back? After all, someone on the internet said that if you could just organize your thoughts and put them down in written form that your ex boyfriend or future ex husband might reconsider leaving you. Can writing your ex boyfriend a love letter or pouring your heart out to him make him come back to you?

Honestly, this is one of the worst pieces of advice that I have ever heard in my life! A blanket statement that tells you to butt back into your ex's life in the form of a written letter has to be pretty close to the nail in the coffin if you were ever hoping to get back together with your ex. If nothing else, writing to your ex and thinking that what you have to say is going to be read, taken seriously or have any sort of a positive effect on your ex is insane.

Just think about this for a moment. Your ex left you. He decided that he didn't want to be in a romantic relationship with you. Have you ever dumped someone yourself? Try to put yourself in your ex's position. Would you want to get a lengthy email or letter from the person you rejected saying anything that has anything to do with your decision to end the relationship? Chances are such an invasion back into your life would further cement your resolve to stay away from that person. Such behavior actually borders on stalking or obsessive behavior and should be avoided at any cost.

There is a time and a place and a way to communicate with your ex after a breakup and it doesn't involve you initiating contact with your ex. It is actually possible to get your ex to open the dialogue and also ways to rekindle that attraction in your ex but pouring your heart out to someone that has rejected you only makes you appear weak and needy. I'm telling you from experience that this is one mistake that you don't want to make and something that you should avoid at all costs if you are still in love with your ex boyfriend and you ever hope to reunite with him.

Take some time to really back off from him and give him some space. Respect him and his decision a little bit. Work on getting your own self respect back and once you start to feel that your ex was wrong to break up with you and that he will regret his decision because you're pretty awesome, then you'll know that it's almost time to be in touch with your ex. Without being at the top of your game you hold little chance of appearing attractive to your ex and you'd be better of hiding out for a while until you have your life together again.

It is absolutely possible to win him back and no matter what the circumstances are, there will be a day when he will miss you and wonder what you've been up to. You need to be ready for that opportunity and you need to know both what to say and do as well as what pitfalls to avoid. You might only have one chance at this and you don't want to mess it up. So, avoid the letter writing campaign and start thinking about what you need to do to make your ex boyfriend want you back in his life again. Without that you're lost but if he misses you and is attracted to you again then winning him back is simple and easy.
