Your boyfriend has left you but you have a wonderful plan that you're sure will work to get him back. It came to you in a moment of clarity and you are happy. You're overjoyed because you're sure that this will work. There's no doubt in your mind. Are you sure that you know what you're doing? Are you sure that your plan will work or are you about to make a mistake.
For all of us, that moment of clarity often comes when we're feeling emotional and desperate to get our ex back. Often that plan to get our ex back isn't based in reality or upon any sort of solid advice that we've received from anyone. Sometimes it's late at night when we're feeling particularly terrible about ourselves. We are lonely and depressed and searching for an answer. We feel the need to do something to get him back so we come up with a step by step plan that we are sure will work.
Often this plan is doomed before we ever set it in motion. Chances are that no matter how well thought out your plan is or if you think that nobody has ever tried doing what you're about to do, there is someone out there that has tried it and failed. Your problem right now is not with your ex. It's with yourself. The sooner you understand that and start focusing on yourself and what you need to do to get yourself back together, the sooner you will be prepared to win him over.
As a general rule, once you no longer feel that compelling desire to call him, text him, drive by his house or ask his friends about him, it is only then that you are truly prepared to get him back. Although you love him, once you are not desperated to have him, it is only then that things will be back in balance. It is only then that you will be in the right mind frame to win him over.
While you might think that you are a pretty good actress and that you can avoid appearing needy and desperate, your body language, facial expressions and your attitude will give you away every time if there is even a hint of neediness inside of you. Your boyfriend probably knows you pretty well. Chances are that at one point the two of you could communicate without words and complete each other's sentences. What makes you think that you can pull one over on the one person that knows you better than anyone else?
All of this is the reason why you need to get to work on yourself. You need to really feel good about yourself and stop beating yourself up over this breakup. You are worthy of his love and he should consider himself lucky to have you. Once you believe that then you can eminate that emotion when you see him or talk to him. Of course, knowing what to say and what to do to disarm him and force him to see that things have changed is helpful but if you're not in your right mind then no plan is going to help you to get your boyfriend back.
