Since the beginning, the most important part of our body is our mind. It is very special that without it, we are nothing. It controls every body parts of our body. Since it is capable of controlling our body it is also responsible for what we want, we think, what we hate and what we loved and almost everything. Since our mind is very powerful, it is hard to dictate it to change directly as we always wanted to. Thus, it needs the help of some expert in order to somehow give our mind a hint on what is right and what should be done.

Our mind is divided into two dimensions or level of thinking. These are the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Each of them has a role or some specific task and functions. Hypnosis therapy will make use of both conscious and the subconscious mind to assist you.

Your conscious mind is the part where you are fully aware of it most of the time. It is where logic, analytic, judgments and reaction takes place. Most of the time it is your conscious mind that gives you an option on what to do and what you don’t want to do. It is the one where you would choose to have ice cream than pieces of chocolates. It is your mind where you can command and choose your actions basing from what are your preferences.

On the other hand, subconscious mind is far beyond than that of your conscious mind. Your subconscious mind serves as back-up memory whenever conscious mind cannot do its task. It has a wide range of memories gathered from your life’s experiences that makes it useful. Whenever there are some events that you yourself are not aware of and you cannot do and decide for yourself, the subconscious mind will do its job. It recalls past experiences related to it and apply what is best to be done. Are you familiar with “conscience”? This is one example part of your subconscious mind, even without thinking and commanding it, feelings towards something before deciding comes out. This is the part that most likely you are unaware of.

The role of hypnosis does not focus on your conscious mind rather it stays on programming your subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind can affect change in our decision and our attitude unlike in conscious state wherein we can chose what to do and what to act. If our subconscious is programmed towards doing the right thing, it would somehow change the way we live instantly after the therapy. Hypnosis therapy can change the part of our mind which we are not aware of. Changing its way to react or its pattern is like changing the way we live and do for good.
