It is no longer expected of watches to simply be timekeeping devices. As a sports-watch, it has a water resistance level of 100 meters. While other Rolex watches like the Sea-Dweller and the Submariner offers a higher water resistance level, one have to bear in mind that the Yacht-Master is not intended for diving.
