So first, here some of the selling features that you'll like. There are eight pre-set drink buttons so that you may select and brew your drink with the pressing of a button. The Jura Impressa Z5 espresso machine is one of the quietest running coffee machines on the market. There are two heating systems for speedy drink preparation. The built in coffee grinder, which has six fine-ness settings, works incredibly well, but you can at the same time brew a mug of decaf or other brew by using the secondary grinds compartment. There is an automatic timer and shut-off feature, as well as an LCD display. The machine can steam ice-cold milk perfectly and quickly. And not surprisingly, so much more.
And now for the "negatives". If you're going to invest in a high end coffee center, you should know what you’re getting. First off, be aware that if you want the warranty to remain intact, then you will have to use the Capresso cleaning tablets and water filters - not a generic (cheaper) brand name. You will also end up finding that you have to buy upper quality (and thus more expensive) coffee beans, as the grinder requires "less oily" beans. Many people unaware of this, and are surprised to find that the less expensive or "regular" coffee beans don't work as well in the grinder. You also should be aware of possible health issues - you see, you no doubt will end up drinking MORE coffee than you did before owning the Jura Impressa Z5. And of course, there is that slight chance that you will become a coffee snob!
Weighing the pros and cons when you make a big purchase is important. All things considered, the pros do outweigh the cons in this case. However, you will have to decide for yourself if you want to join the ranks of those who own this luxurious machine. If you do, my guess is that you will never regret it.
