Most medical insurance plans will reimburse for an eye exam but when it comes to ordering contact lenses and eye glasses you ordinarily have to pay in a pretty huge amount from your own pocket. Well, I have a key for you. Both My wife and college age daughter require prescription lenses so I found out how to get this done with very little out of pocket expenses.
HERE IS HOW TO DO IT.
Have the eye exam completed using your medical coverage and ask the optometrist to fill in the prescription for contact lenses and eyeglasses. I want you to know that I have myself used both these online suppliers and that they are both first-rate value for money and deliver a product which is precisely comparable with what you get at an optometrist. If you want to still order your first pair from the optometrist and your vision coverage pays for it then go ahead and order one pair. Then if you want additional pairs, say for your briefcase, your car or your bedside, go ahead and use the prescription you have and send for three extra sets at ridiculously low prices.
