An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner makes keeping your precious stones, watches, rings, earring and other jewelry items brilliant easy. But there are precautions to be aware of. If any of the stones have a fracture, the cleaner can cause damage. You should regularly have your stones inspected by a jeweler for any damage. After years of wearing them, sometimes it can happen. When you first purchase a diamond ring, you may receive a schedule for inspections. It is important to keep the schedule to avoid any damages to your jewelry. If such an incident should occur, your jeweler can make necessary repairs to your stone. That is why before cleaning proceed with caution.

Not only will cleaning your stones keep them shiny, regular care and storing will also keep them looking for good for many years. The cleaning solution used to clean jewelry with the ultrasonic cleaner is important. Most people have used bleach, ammonia or regular dish detergent to clean their jewelry. Why is this not a good idea? Because they contain harmful chemicals that can cause a fracture to worsen. And they only keep your jewelry looking good for a short time. They do not thoroughly removed dirt and particles from the jewelry. Specialty cleaners and warm water work well with the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. Pay attention to the instructions on what works well for each machine.

If your jewelry is really dirty before running it in the machine, you want to let it soak overnight. Warm water can also help expedite the cleaning process. Be careful with using warm water because if your stones have a fracture it may harm it. Tap water, Fantansik and 409 cleaners work well in the cleaner too. A small brush or toothbrush can remove any stuck on dirt. But use gently and don’t make contact with the stone. The ultrasonic cleaner can remove small particles that can cause dulling. After running the jewelry through the cleaning machine, rinse off and dry with a soft cloth. Pearls should not be place in the solution. Always be aware of the manufacturers' recommendations when using a cleaning machine.

The cleaning machines with the stainless steel tanks work better than most. But you are never to place silver in a metallic container. There are some tanks that are plastic and can be used for this purpose. For your fine jewelry, choose the stainless steel tank to achieve the best results. Your jewelry will look like new and the jeweler will be impressed with the state of your jewels.
