What Is ACCA F4?

To clear the exam of ACCA is never easy. Students are required to work hard with full dedication and determination in order to clear their examination. There are two examination cycles per year and if you are able to attempt and pass the first examination cycle, only then you would be able to move towards the second examination cycle. The first examination cycle is made up F1, F2 and F3 modules whereas the second examination cycle consists of ACCA F4 to F9.

Introduction To ACCA F4:

The ACCA F4 is available on the paper based format. It is also known as Corporate and Business Law. The candidate will not be able to appear for ACCA F4 until they have passed the F3. The corporate and business law helps students to develop a good understanding regarding general legal framework and legal areas that are related to business. It also helps in identifying the need to look for specialist legal advice if required.

The ACCA F4 provides a guideline to understand the basics of financial accounting, taxation and auditing. Once you enter your professional life, you would understand the importance of law to your work and you also would be able to use that respective knowledge in your personal life. The ACCA F4 makes sure that the students have gained extensive information about the law and now could work in any reputable organization. They will not have to get worried about the legal problems and could protect themselves from such legal issues by following the law properly.

Exam Structure.

The time duration that is required to complete the paper of Corporate, business law (ACCA F4) is three hours, and takes place twice a year in the month of June and December. The total number of questions that are asked in ACCA F4 is ten with no negative marking involved. Thus, the candidate could also make educated guess in order to attempt a question without having to worry about getting their marks deducted. You also need to keep in mind that the students are required to attempt all the questions with no choice available. The questions that are usually asked in ACCA F4 are based on explaining different concepts, testing the analytical skills and distinguishing among different concepts of accounting and finance.

Fee Structure.

The fee of ACCA is not much high and students are only required to pay 72 pounds. The fee of ACCA F4 is quite reasonable given the benefit offered by it. However, the examination fee may vary every year thus; you should check the current fee from the official website of ACCA. If however you are not able to clear the paper of ACCA F4 then do not worry. You will not be required to attempt and pay fees of all the courses of that particular examination cycle. You only would be required to pay fee of ACCA F4 (Corporate and business law) and could prepare for the exam.
