Advanced automatic folder gluer and stitcher machine useful for the paperboard and corrugated box industry. In the past, many commercial printers outsourced this finishing process, however, more and more shops are deciding to do the finishing in-house for faster delivery, quality control, and higher profits.
When choosing an automatic folder gluer machine, it is very important that the machine fits your needs and the applications for which you want to use it. Obviously, higher-end machines have the greatest versatility as opposed to handfed models. Sophisticated products can't be produced with handfed models.
Benefits of automatic folder gluer and stitcher machines
In the short and long run, there are many benefits of purchasing an automatic folder gluer and stitcher machine.
With the capabilities of the automatic gluer machine, print companies can expand their product line to include presentation folders, CD jackets, sophisticated corrugated packaging boxes, and more.
Handfed models are extremely slow operating when compared to automatic folder gluer machines. Automatic gluer machines can run from 3,500 to over 5,000 pieces an hour as opposed to handfed machine, which can run approximately 2,000 pieces an hour. A handfed operation simply cannot keep up with larger orders.
Another benefit is economic. The cost of manually gluing bindings is greater than using the automatic gluer machine. There is actual labor costs involved using handfed gluers because a worker has to feed and then retrieve the product, plus it takes about two years to train an operator.
With their programmed software and computer interfaces, automatic gluer machines can be set up quickly. Minimal training is required for an operator who has experience with folding systems. Training normally takes only a few weeks.
Automatic Folder Gluer and Double Stitcher
There are three models in automatic folder gluer and double stitcher standard series, each consisting of a feeding unit, a gluing and folding unit, and a stitching and counter ejector. The standard series can run sheet sizes ranging from 300 x 900 mm to 1,200 x 2,900 mm. The maximum stitching speed is 85 sheets per minute.
It also provides an optional strapping unit made of polypropylene that is 12 mm(W) x 0.8 mm(T). It can run eight bundles per minute with a straight line or right/left curve side line.
They market their products both domestically and globally.
