Hyundai South Africa achieved Car of the Year 2012 for its Hyundai Elantra 1.8 GLS. The competition was held by Wesbank andthe South African Guild of Motoring. The Hyundai elantra was given the title of "Best Compact Saloon" in CAR Magazine's for 2012 and this was reflected by topCar magazine choosing the Elantra for yet another top prize.

It's not hard to conceive that Hyundai is the most recognised motor vehicle manufacturers. . Prior to winning Car of the Year 2012, Hyundai managed to place two of their vehicles as finalists in the 2011 competition, the ix35 and the st

Hyundai Motor Company has achieved a massive leap in developing client service. This is apparent by the fact that theywere awarded for the most improved car business in Auto Express Magazine's "10 Years of Driver Power" survey in 2011. Pushing from one of the worst performing manufacturers for client service to one of the five best brands clearly indicates Hyundai's dedication to improving their brand.

A separate gauge of their commitment is the Hyundai i30 which has been a strong performer in satisfaction and dependability since its launch and is graded fourth in the Top 50 Cars of the Decade. The new Hyundai i30 Hatchback we can anticipate seeing Hyundai South Africa getting stock of this car within the last quarter of 2012 (no current launch date for South Africa).

Hyundai has implemented a few of its technologies developed by its Blue Drive sub-brand into the new i30, which optimises efficiency and lowers emissions. These include low rolling resistance tyres, an alternator management system and Integrated Stop & Go (ISG).

The brand-new Flex Steer option offers three operating modes which are Sport, Normal and Comfort. These modes vary the level of feedback and steering assistance. The Flex Steer option is part of the new i30 hatchback and is bound to help propel the car to become one of the finalists of the 2013 Car of the Year contest.

Hyundai is pushing strongly to raise their brand to the 'next level' with these new models. by constantly applying a specific design idea to both the new Elantra and the i30. This design concept is acknowledged as "Wind Craft" and evokes a piece of art shaped by wind.

An Excerpt from Hyundai's Mission Statement below displays their commitment to bettering.
"We at Hyundai, we're on a mission. We want to become one of the top five manufacturers in the world. And, we're doing that by cementing our commitment to quality. That means we've outgrown our reputation for producing low-priced small cars and we're now known as a full-line car manufacturer of quality, variety, innovation and individuality."

Hyundai is certainly rocking the car enterprise and I would advise anyone tokeep an eye on this motor vehicle manufacturer as they look staged to accomplish great things in the years to come. I'd even go as far as to state that if you don't currently own a Hyundai, then now would be time to look at buying one.
