1. Tea Tree Essential Oil - This is one of the most popular of the various natural remedies for treating acne today. All that a person needs to do is mix a small amount of the essential oil with a carried fluid and then apply it directly to the affected area with a cotton ball. Once applied the anti-bacterial properties within the oil get to work killing off the bacteria that has caused the acne to erupt.
2. Zinc - This is another popular treatment for effectively dealing with acne but is not as effective as the tea tree essential oil and medications, which a doctor may prescribe. But even so it can still help with reducing the spots upon the person's skin and helps to improve the condition of the skin overall. But be wary if you use too much of this remedy you may find that it can lead to other health problems and a possible side effective is that it can cause your digestive system to become upset.
3. Garlic - The main disadvantage to be had from using this particular remedy is the smell, but if you can put up with it garlic is extremely effective at treating acne. Just like the tea tree oil, garlic has anti bacterial properties and when applied directly to the skin (either in crushed or juice form) it helps to kill off the bacteria that have caused the acne to appear.
4. Lemons - These are another effective way of treating acne as they contain high levels of Vitamin C, which can help to boost a person's immune system. A boosted immune system means that the body is better able to fight off the bacterium that is causing the acne to appear.
You can either drink more lemon juice or another way is by mixing the juice with some rosewater and then applying directly to the affected skin area. Once the solution has been applied using a cotton wool ball you need to leave the area alone for around 30 minutes in order that the skin can absorb it. This particular remedy for treating acne needs to be applied on to the skin every two to three times each day.
