Thanks to celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, Sandra Fluke may have her day in court to face conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh labeled Ms Fluke a slut and a prostitute on his nationally-syndicated radio show after the 30-year-old law college student told Congress she wanted Georgetown University to pay for her birth control pills. Although Rush apologized to Ms. Fluke, it was not enough for Gloria Allred who requested that Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe research whether or not the conservative talk radio personality violated any Florida Statutes by labeling Sandra Fluke the 2 derogatory words.
My question is for what reason didn't Gloria Allred try to prosecute comedian Bill Maher for labeling Sarah Pallin "a dumb twat"? Or why did she remained silent when the band The Roots played 'Lyin' Ass Bitch' during GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann's appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? Allred's hypocrisy and lack of intellectual honesty is really so transparent it is laughable.
What exactly is not laughable is the constant assault on personal freedom by liberals. Ms. Fluke's need that the college pay for her birth control is simply the newest illustration. Here is why: First, Georgetown is a Catholic College run by Jesuit priests (a Catholic order of priests.) Georgetown's stance on birth control is based on the church's religious valuesand is famous to all. Second, Ms Fluke - a birth prevention activist - can have chosen any number of Universities that could have offered her with contraception pills. However, she purposefully targeted Georgetown so as to force the college to give up its spiritual beliefs and follow hers.

This case is not about Rush Limbaugh or Sandra Fluke. It is about progressives forcing their beliefs and way of life on other people. More specifically, it's about the President of the United States wanting his government to make moral decisions about who should pay for your contraception.
