If you really just have to have something else, then give yourself what you crave. It will amaze you how often the substitution hits the spot and you feel satisfied. As time carries on, you will start looking forward to eating the substituted healthy food rather than the old unhealthy food.

Criticize the Program

It is routine for people to look into a new diet plan with high hopes that it will answer their problem, so they only tend to notice all of its benefits while ignoring its weak points. It is not unusual for people to think more about changing themselves to fit a system, than to see how a plan might naturally blend into their world. This is not what you should be doing!

You should consider doing it differently this time and criticizing the plan, rather than looking only at its benefits. Rather than turning a blind eye to the downsides of a plan, point out those flaws.

It is best to acknowledge the limitations of a plan before you spend time trying to make your life fit to it. Unless you can stumble upon a plan that was drawn up just for your body and lifestyle, you will have to settle for a solid plan and make it fit your life. A diet system found in a book or online was not designed specifically for you. Once you accept elements of the plan that will not work for you, it is rather basic to make some changes so it will be perfect for you. It is a matter of adjusting the plan, rather than trying to adjust yourself.
