There a lot of users on Facebook these days and quite a few have been using Facebook to build their business. Listed in this article are some very important recommendations. Not only will this increase your potential success on Facebook but you will keep other Facebook users happy as well.

Remember, to build your business, you should be concentrating on building relationships. Blasting your ad, spamming people, and writing on people's walls is not the way to build relationships. Here are some of the common issues I have seen from marketers on Facebook.

Let's start with spamming. Spam is sending unwanted messages about your business opportunity. The most common form of spam is sent via e-mail but this also applies to the Facebook chat. If enough people complain about your spam messages, Facebook will shut you down. If you are in the practice of searching for people and sending a random message about your business or opportunity with a link to your site, this is spam. No one will even care about your message, no matter how well written, they just know they don't know you.

When you use Facebook chat, it is no different. You should be using this to get to know people better. You should not be advertising a business opportunity unless someone asks first.

Others will send a message with a friend request that has a link in it. This is a quick way to have people not accept your request because all you are looking for is people to jump into your business. It is OK to send a message with your friend request but make it personal, not about your business.

Posting on someone else's wall should NEVER been done. There are so many network marketers trying this option these days but is it really working? Do you think people will want to join your business by doing this? Posting status updates over and over about your business is not a good thing and people usually don't join a business that way. You need to keep your posts more personal and about you, not your business. If you want to throw 1 or 2 out there a day, I see nothing wrong with that. Others still see this a form of spam.

Facebook has certain groups that will encourage you to write about your business within their group. You can use these groups as a place to post about your business there. You should remember that not all groups want you to do this. Make sure to examine and see the specifications of each group to find out if posting your business is OK.

This article should help everyone to become more mindful of common mistakes. It is also important to share these type of ideas with people to keep the name of network marketing respectable.

Facebook is one of the best places to be able to connect with people that will: help grow your business, help with particular problems all of types, and create dynamite relationships. Be sure to look me up on Facebook and connect with me. I will be glad to meet you there.
