Many people dream to fly an airplane or an aircraft. However, you cannot fly unless you know how to. In order to fly, you must first undergo pilot training, a field of study related to aircraft. It is one of the most in demand courses because of the different aviation jobs that it offers once you finished this field. Like any other course, this field offers different types of pilot jobs that you can choose from.

Training to become a commercial air pilot, small aircraft pilot or a private recreational pilot are some of the most common type of pilot training. Depending on which area you will choose, each path will give you a pilot's license though each will place you in very different circumstances.

The most popular type of pilot training is getting a commercial pilot license. This kind of aviation job permits the holder to act as a Pilot-in-Command of a single pilot aircraft or as a co-pilot of a multi-pilot aircraft. The reason beyond its popularity is because people consider this as a career every time they think on which field that they are going to take. Commercial pilots receive big amount of salary despite of their simple pilot job: making minute course adjustments and for take-offs and landing.

In order to become a commercial pilot, you need to apply to a particular airline for the position of pilot. If you are qualified, the airline will hire you and sponsor your training. In return, you will sign a contract and take the pilot job even after you completed the training.

On the other hand, getting a recreational pilot license is different from getting a commercial pilot license. Since it is recreational, it is not as hard as getting a commercial pilot license. In fact, it may not be considered as an aviation job since you use your pilot license for sheer joy and pleasure of flying. The training for recreational pilot is much simple compared to being a commercial pilot. If commercial pilots use big planes and aircrafts for their training, recreational pilots, on the other hand, use smaller planes for their training.

In order to become a recreational pilot, you must look for a reputable flight school and sign up to take lessons there. Once you complete the required hours, the school will give you exams to test your flying ability. Once you passed the exam, they will give you your recreational pilot license.

Whether you prefer a commercial or recreational pilot license, pilot training is very important in order to become a qualified pilot. So enroll at certified flight training schools and get your dream aviation job. Who knows, your pilot job will be your way to gaining success in your life.
