. A hen can have a life for almost 20 years.

. A chicken's heart beats u to 280-315 times in a minute. Yes more than human heart beat. They have a body temperature 102-103 degrees Fahrenheit.

. A rooster attacks anything or anyone that he thinks will harm their chicks. So be careful when you get close to them.

. A chicken is considered to be a bird and they have almost 150 varieties of domestic chickens.

. A hen can built her nest by scratching the ground to make a hole for their eggs to lie. They pick up twigs and other types of leaves on top of the hole and there drops her eggs.

. Domesticated chickens feed on seeds and insects but the wild chicken prefer to eat lizards and even mice.
