Short Breaks at Eurodisney are an increasingly popular choice for families looking to get away for a few days holiday and provide an unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike. Eurodisney, or Disneyland Paris as it is now officially known can be found just a few miles east of Paris. Traveling to Paris itself is quick and easy thanks to the Eurostar service as well as plenty of cheap flight and ferry fares. Once you arrive in the French capital the final leg of the journey to the resort only takes half an hour or so by train or car. It really is a fast painless journey to get to your Eurodisney break.
Launched as Eurodisney in the early nineties, the resort initially had a rough few years. France is a country proud of its history and culture so the arrival of a large global brand on the doorstep of Paris irked many who felt the park was somewhat tacky and devalued the heritage of Paris and the surrounding area. If you are on a budget there are many hotels and restaurants in the surrounding area which can cut accommodation and dining costs a little, although if you are only visiting Eurodisney for a short break then paying the extra premium to stay at a hotel within the resort itself probably won't damage your wallet too much. Staying within the resort will probably save you an hour or so a day so you can make the most of your short Eurodisney break.
The quickest method of travel to Eurodisney from the UK is via the Eurostar. With multiple services running daily from St. Pancreas in London, its very convenient and will deliver you to the heart of France incredibly quickly. Like any train fares, Eurostar ticket prices can vary quite a lot. The best way to get a good deal is to book early, travel midweek and try and avoid school holidays and half-terms when visiting Eurodisney for your break. Easy to get to and with plenty of deals to be found, Eurodisney breaks are a great choice for a short family holiday.
