Many barbeque recipe involving ribs tend to come with some different modes of cooking styles and preparations. However, most of these recipes tend to agree that tenderness of the meat is of utmost importance as well as its final flavor. Some recipes can even take you as less a time as 20 minutes but in most cases we opt for the complex ones. It is important to ensure that all items that you intend to barbeque are not placed directly on the source of the heat and when it becomes necessary, they should be monitored closely to avoid burning. A good recipe for cooking some pretty good ribs is to use some 8 beef back ribs that have been previously marinated in ? a cup of honey and some ketchup. Here's how to bake ribsas this recipe uses the oven as the primary heat source.

You will also need chopped onions, ? ounce of some green chilies diced and 4 garlic cloves that have been minced. The chilies are for those who prefer their ribs all hot and spicy. Other ingredients that you will require include dry mustard, salt, cayenne and black pepper to enhance the marinades flavor. In case the ribs contain some excess fats, you can opt to trim them or do away with them. The salt, cayenne, dry mustard and black pepper can be mixed with the marinade or just rubbed onto the ribs directly. To start off the cooking process, have the oven fired up to 265 degrees Fahrenheit and then place the ribs in a drip pan where it can comfortably cook. Using the pan's lid, close the dripping pan so that there is maximum retention of heat. Proceed to bake the ribs for a period of 3 or 3 and ? hours over medium to low heat. For the entire period of three or so hours, maintain the heat range at 265 degrees Fahrenheit.

After you have successfully placed the ribs in the oven, we proceed with making of the barbeque sauce. For a good barbeque sauce, you will need honey, ketchup, garlic, onion, mustard and chili peppers. Take up a sauce pan and mix up the ingredients. In low heat, proceed to warm the ingredients till they are evenly warm. After the ribs are done, all that is required of you at this juncture is to pour the thick mixture on to the ribs. It is better if the mixture is thick so that it is able to penetrate the meat. Almost all ribs recipes can be compared to the above steps. You can also learn how to cook ribs using the following recipe. If the ribs that you intend to cook were frozen, you'll have to defrost them for some 4 hours or so before you cover them up with spices and seasonings that you prefer. Seal the flavoring inside using an aluminum foil. Place the ribs in an oven that is running at 200 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 3 hours after which you coat the ribs with some barbeque sauce. Grill for a few minutes and serve.
