Ribs that have been barbequed tend to be the best especially those that have been sprinkled with some exciting barbeque sauce. Nothing comes close to ribs that have been expertly barbequed. In order for these ribs to have their taste and flavor expertly brought out, they have to be cooked slowly which is kind of hard for most people who love ribs. Read on to discover how to actually cook ribs the right way. One problem that seems to be universal is the fact that most people either overcook the ribs which results in some tough and dry ribs or undercooking them which can be potentially dangerous to human health. Most upon recognizing this fact tend to overcook the rib which is also not good. In order to learn how to cook ribs in an ovenand slow cook them at that, you will have to equip yourself with some technical knowhow as well as have lots of patience. Read on and take the guesswork out of cooking ribs.

Ideal ribs for purposes of barbequing come in many different forms and types. The first type is the pork baby back ribs which happen to be the easiest to cook and are well known. This is because they are extremely tender and cook easily once placed on the grill. Pork spare ribs are the next type of ribs available for barbequing. They are bigger than the baby backs and therefore require longer times to cook. The third type of barbeque ribs is those that come from cattle- beef ribs. These ribs are the largest which means that they take awfully long before they get ready and more so if you want them to be as tender as the pork ribs. Experts' advice on braising the beef ribs before you embark on cooking them so that they can be a bit softer. Beef short ribs are the last type of ribs for barbequing and they are almost similar to beef ribs and so they also need slow cooking so that they can eventually be tender.

You shouldn't worry too much about the beef ribs being tough as all that is required of you is to boil the ribs, steam them up or just slow cook them in an oven before you place the ribs on the grill. Preseasoning the ribs ensure that their flavor is enhanced just before you tenderize the ribs using the above methods. Beer use is sharply gaining popularity as a form of meat tenderizing as it tends to leave the meat extremely soft and tender eventually having the meat falling off from the bone. The precooking process can take anywhere from an hour up to 4 hours depending on the level of tenderness that you desire. After they have been precooked, you can just throw them on the grill for some 10 or so minutes as you brush them with your favorite sauce. You've just learnt how to cook ribs.
