Like, it may be pregnancy ; during pregnancy the spine gets strained due to excessive weight gain. For similar reason, pregnancy is one of the reasons for sciatica as well.

In rare cases, infections and tumors are believed to be accountable for chronic back trouble also. There are specific illnesses like ostomyletis that will trigger persistent back pain. Cancers in the spine might also cause a similar issue.

Diagnosing sciatica can be quite hard. The same holds true for persistent back stiffness too. It could take a couple of months to diagnose the difficulty. When headed to the doctor, make sure you let him know all the main points of your problem. Mention things like when the agony started, frequency of pain, intensity of the pain, factors that may irritate the discomfort and suchlike.
