Toxins that have been accumulated inside the body must be cleared out in order for the body to function in an optimal way, regain energy , and to heal itself. OIne way to clear toxins out of the body is to do a body detox using natural herbs. This herbal cleansing is not a one step process, rather a continued process to help the body rid itself of toxins every day.

Along with aiding the body to eliminate the toxins, it makes sense to reduce the toxins that are consumed, or that we are exposed to. Restricting or eliminating alltogether, items such as alcohol, tobacco, refined sugar, caffeinated beverages, along with household chemicals and synthetic soaps, shampoos, and other body products can go a long way.

In order to get started with a practice that will facilitate detoxification, you can start with eating organic foods whenver possible, drinking adequate amounts of water and getting regular exercise.

Some herbs that will aid in ridding your body of toxins are:

Psyllium. Both the seeds and the husks are used. Not only is it a safe laxative, it's gelatinous consistency after it has been soaked, absordbs toxins. Psyllium is an adaptogenic, and can be used to correct both diarrhea and constipation.

Juniper Berries promote the health of the urinary system. Sthergthening the bladder, the kidneys, and the entire urinary tract it is an aid in eliminating toxins.

Stinging Nettle also have detoxifying properties along with some allergy relief, but should not be used for prolonged periods.

Burdock seeds and roots are similar to nettles. It has mild and cleansing diuretic action but has stronger effects. Burdock can also reduce heavy metals.

Basil, rosemary, thyme, cypress, celery, grapefruit, patchouli, fennel, and citrus oils contain essential oils effective for flushing out toxins underneath your skin and stimulating circulation of your lymph.

Dandelion root and the herb milk thistle is powerful help in cleansing and strengthening your liver. Milk thistle has silymarin which does not only protect your liver but helps in regenerating itself. Medical studies have shown that milk thistle cab reverse liver damage. Dandelion root helps in removing waste products from your gallbladder and kidneys.

Herbal medicine is a potent effective way to heal and to detoxify. While herbs are natural, they still can be toxic if used for longer periods of time. Consult with an herbalist and your medical practitioner nefore using herbs for the long term, or if you are taking medications that may be affected by herbs. xsszz999
