I watch movies just about every day and I've never used over 6 gigs in a month. Watching Youtube can also be slow depending on the day. I don't know what it is about Youtube because on other sites I can stream video with no problem, but well, I guess it just depends on the sites. Sometimes I can stream without having to wait for the video to load, but sometimes it takes forever.
However, I still consider 12vpn the best vpn in China because I really don't need to watch Youtube when I've got Youku (now Souku? what's with that?) with basically the same stuff. However, you may be a lover of Youtube or have higher expectation regarding internet usage. In that case you could attempt the personal version that's 70 dollars a year as well as has a six month option. No limits and faster connection - however I've never tried it and can't vouch for it seeing that being the best vpn in China..
I can however say that I've tried the lowest priced version of strong vpn. Their cheapest version is 45 dollars for 6 months, which works out to six or seven dollars depending on the length of time you buy. Not because cheap, but still pretty cheap. It is a little faster than the lite version of 12vpn, but not by much, and you'll still experience the slow streaming video each once in a while.
