There are instances that you had planned to have some chicken for supper only to forget to actually remove it from the freezer and yet be short of time to defrost the bird. Do not be worried as it is not entirely hard to cook frozen chicken without undergoing the defrosting process. You can cook the frozen bird on the Crockpot, grill, on top of the stove or in the oven. Be ready to take up extra time as the frozen chicken cooks in a longer time. The best modes of cooking the frozen birds according to the United States Department of Agriculture or USDA are the stovetop and the oven. These cooking modes ensure that the bird cooks to the bone. Be on the lookout for signs of improper cooking at the end so that you do not get food poisoning.

Follow the recipe below to cook some boneless breasts that were originally frozen. These are very easy to cook especially due to the fact that they are individually frozen. Take the frozen breasts and have them covered with your favorite sauce before putting them in the baking pan. Place them in the oven that is at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour or so. After this, you then get to poach the breasts in a skillet with water, chicken stock or fruit juice for 30 minutes. Use teriyaki sauce as you put the chicken breasts into the Crockpot. Cook the chicken breasts using low heat for 8 hours or so. For those who want to cook a whole chicken, the only way through this is to poach the chicken. Poaching will ensure that the entire chicken cooks evenly on all sides i.e. both in and out.

Poaching will take an hour or so for a whole chicken that has been frozen. This is why it is better to store the chicken in parts as it becomes easier to handle. If the chicken is in parts, you will only need to cover the parts with sauce and then bake it for 1 ? or 1 ? hours. In case the parts are stuck together, have them boil for 10 or so minutes and then grill bake or cook them in the Crockpot. If you want to know how to boil chicken, then read on as it is an important step in having a fat free meal or just a step towards a more intricate recipe. Chicken that has been boiled is used in several recipes like pastas, noodle dishes as well as salads. In the case of salads which are served raw, the boiled chicken becomes essential as it is hard to eat raw chicken. Any frozen chicken or meat that you intend to boil has to be thawed first. You can carry out thawing by simply having the chicken in a plastic bag and then placing it in a bowl of cold water or removing it from the freezer and then placing it in another part of the refrigerator. Proceed to boil the chicken for an hour or so until the meats temperature is 160 degrees F.
