When I realized that I need glasses for seeing distances it was only after I realized that I couldn t read the street signs correctly. When following directions for how to get to someone s house, I found that I had incredible difficulty trying to read the street signs that would tell me where to go. Because of this, I wound up getting lost. At first, I thought the problem wasn t a huge deal. After all, there are many people who have difficulty seeing where they are going at night. This wasn t the case with me however.

Driving at night is dangerous for a multitude of reasons. For starters, when things aren t illuminated in light, it is naturally more difficult to see where you are going. Additionally, if you are driving on a roadway at night, it can be incredibly difficult to spot other pedestrians who may be walking, running or cycling. There are also many nocturnal animals who make their appearances known as soon as the sun goes down. For example, it is not unusual to see a stray deer or a raccoon hurrying across the street. But perhaps the most distinct difference between driving at night versus driving during the day is the fac that the lack of light slows your reaction time down so that you are no longer able to have the quick reaction you would have had had it been during the day.

Driving at night is dangerous as well because a lot of the time, people who have been drinking whether it be at a club, at a friend s house or at a bar, are traveling on the road and risking running into you with their vehicle. It seems as if the possibilities are endless for the kinds of potential dangers that you can run into on the roads. For this reason, you should always try to travel during the day. There are some, however, who prefer to drive at night because doing so means that they will deal with far less traffic (if at all). The streets are quieter, and you don t necessarily have to deal with the same crowded streets and annoying drivers.

Driving at night has both its benefits as well as its drawbacks. If you drive during the day, you have more of an opportunity of getting into an accident because someone didn t know where they were going or simply weren t paying attention. Typically, these sorts of accidents are mere fender benders. On the other hand, if you get into an accident at night, these are more serious. Again, it comes down to how much visibility you have access to. A car that slides off of the roadway and into a ditch may not be spotted right away at night versus a car that slides off the road during the day and is witnessed by several motorists and pedestrians who are out running their errands. At night, it really is more difficult to increase the amount of reaction time that you have before something like a
